Kids Yoga 4 Week Series- This series is open to children 6-10 years old. During class we learn breathing techniques, play yoga games incorporating our intention of the week (kindness, empathy, etc), learn yoga poses, and practice mindfulness and guided meditation in a fun playful environment. Parents are welcome to wait in the massage studio or drop off your child and come back after class to pick them up (Please be on time). Dates: Mar 26, April 2, 9, 16, 4:30-5:15PM. $40
Gentle Yoga- This is a gentle practice that focuses on alignment, relaxation, and therapeutics including breathing exercises that activate the parasympathetic nervous system. This class welcomes those who need to sit in a chair for the duration of the class as well as those who are comfortable sitting on the floor. If you have chronic pain, including (but not limited to) lupus or fibromyalgia, this class is well suited for you.
Massage Availability- Your massage session will begin with a consultation with our licensed massage therapist, followed by a 60/90 Minute Massage customized to meet your needs, whether it’s deep tissue, prenatal, neuromuscular therapy, relaxation, etc. We use 100% Organic Oils. At the end of the sessions you will be given tips on stretches or strengthening exercises to assist you in attaining your goals.
Massage Members- To become a massage member you sign up to have a monthly automatic payment of $59 for 60 Minute Members or $80 for 90 Minute Members. Your membership dues include one massage/month. Additional massages during the month are $40/60 Minute or $60/90 Minute and are available on weekdays. Members also receive discounts on classes, workshops, and retail products.
Private Yoga Class- If you need or prefer a one on one class to address your specific needs, this is a great option. Your private session will he one on one with the instructor of your choice, begin with a consultation, address your specific body alignment and goals for the session. You will be given suggestions for your home practice to meet your goals.
Prenatal Yoga Workshop- This is a great way for pregnant women to prepare their body and mind for labor and parenthood while relieving many aches and discomforts of pregnancy. These classes embrace both the beginner and experienced student in this special time. Safe modified yoga postures that strengthen the muscles that support a growing belly and changing body are taught to aid in relieving tension caused by body changes. You will also learn yoga postures that challenge the body and mind to prepare for the challenge of labor. You are welcome to have a snack and water whenever needed during class.
Tools for Meditation Workshop- This is an instructional and experiential workshop presented by Sandy Bunch, a facilitator of Mindfulness, Meditation, and Therapeutic Conscious Breathing. Deepen your understanding and practice of meditation, including focus and concentration, conscious breathing, and mind and body connection. $15
Yoga (all levels)- Come learn yoga postures to strengthen and balance the body, increase flexibility, build breath awareness and mindfulness, strengthen and tone muscles, maintain a balanced metabolism, increase and circulatory health. Beginners to advanced are welcome. Proper modifications will be given to anyone with injuries.
Yoga (Beg/Int)- If you have been practicing yoga and are strong in foundation asanas/poses this class is for you. Come learn yoga postures to strengthen and balance the body, increase flexibility, build breath awareness and mindfulness, strengthen and tone muscles, maintain a balanced metabolism, increase your cardio and circulatory health.
Yoga (Beg)- This class is geared towards beginners. Come learn yoga postures to strengthen and balance the body, increase flexibility, build breath awareness and mindfulness, strengthen and tone muscles, maintain a balanced metabolism, increase circulatory health.
Yoga for Stress Relief-This class will offer simple and supportive practices for dealing with stress. Learn breathing exercises, movement though yoga postures, restful poses, and mindfulness meditation to bring balance to the nervous system and calm the mind. Very suitable for beginners and seniors.
What is Yoga Workshop- This is a highly recommended workshop for everyone practicing yoga who has not yet attended this class. Go deeper into what yoga really is. Learn that it is much more than just exercise. We will speak about yoga philosophy and practice the physical yoga postures, focusing on safe alignment and benefits. Come prepared to listen, take notes, move your body, and observe your mind.
Women’s Circle- This month we will begin the circle with a Vegan/Vegetarian potluck, followed by a time of sharing from our hearts, journaling, supporting each other, and having fun!Wear something that you feel pretty in, and is also comfortable enough to sit on the floor (if you are unable to sit on the floor we will have a chair for you). Bring your Vegan/Vegetarian dish to share, a journal and pen for writing exercises. Ages 15 and up welcome.
