Being a teen is challenging, its a time of great transformations, spiritual, emotional and social exploration, and identity crisis. At "Take Root" youth program (ages 14-17) our intention is to help our young generation to navigate through these challenges in a safe, warm, and positive environment. In every gathering we practice mindfulness, yoga, meditation, non violent communication and open a space for a council where each participant can express themselves in their own unique way without guilt, shame, or judgement. Through this thoughtfully designed program we allow each individual to experience, learn, and "Take Root" through... - self care and healthy habits - creative and honest self expression - non violent communication - leadership skills - emotional and mental regulation
